ICAR - Vivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan (VPKAS), Almora - 263601 (Uttarakhand) invites applications for filling up the Technical / Administrative posts of Technician/T-1 (Group I- Field/Farm Technician), Technical Assistant/T-3 (Group I- Field/Farm Technician) and Technical Assistant/T-3 (Group IV- Library/Information /Documentation Staff). The last date for submission of applications is 3rd February 2016.
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years for all posts. (as on 03/02/2016)
Educational Qualifications:
Technician/T-1 (Group I-Field/Farm Technician) (Category-I) -> Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board. Experience in Crop Management.
Technical Assistant/T-3 (Group I-Field/Farm Technician) (Category-II) -> Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or any other branch of Science/ Social Science relevant to Agriculture or Equivalent qualifications from a recognized university. 2-3 year's experience in seed production/Crops production of hill crops. Working knowledge of computer application.
Technical Assistant/T-3 (Group IV-Library/ Information /Documentation Staff) -> Bachelor's Degree in Library Science/Library & Information Science or equivalent qualifications from a recognized university. Experience of working in the relevant field in a University/ Institute/ Council or any other organization of repute. Knowledge of one foreign language.
Application Fee: A Bank Draft of ₹ 200/- (SC/ ST/ Women candidates are exempted) drawn in favour of the Director, ICAR-VPKAS, Almora payble at SBI, Almora.
