Eligibility Criteria for SSCER Recruitment :
  • Educational Qualification :
  • For Office Attendant : Matriculation or equivalent pass.
  • For Field Attendant : Matriculation or equivalent pass with science subjects from a recognized Board.
  • For Laboratory Assistant : Higher Secondary (10+2 years course) or equivalent with Biology as one of the subjects from a recognized Board or University.
  • Nationality : Indian
  • Age Limit : 18 to 27 years as on 26.09.2016
Application Fee : Candidates have to pay Rs.100/- through SBI Net-Banking/Credit Cards/Debit Cards” or through SBI Challan. All Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen, eligible for reservation, are exempted from paying application fee.

  • For Sub-Inspector(Fire) : A degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of a recognized University or equivalent OR Matriculation or equivalent and three years diploma in Mechanical/ Civil/ Electrical/ Automobiles/ Chemical/ Mining/ Aeronautical/ Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent examination passed from a recognized University or Board or Institutions
  • For Fieldman : Matriculation or equivalent examination passed.
  • For Research Investigator : Master’s Degree in Statistics or Operations Research or Forestry or Economics (with Statistics) or Commerce (with Statistics) or Mathematics (with Statistics) or Agriculture (with Statistics) or two years’ Post-Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management from a recognized Institute/University.
  • Nationality : Indian
Age Limit :
  • For Sub-Inspector(Fire) & Research Investigator : 18 to 30 years
  • For Fieldman : 18 to 28 Years
Application Fee : Candidates have to pay Rs.50/- through ” Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)” or “SBI NetBanking/Credit Cards/Debit Cards ” only. No fee for Woman candidates, Physically Handicapped, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Ex-S. However, no fee concession would be admissible to Ex-S who would otherwise be considered as general candidate.
How to Apply SSCER Vacancy : Interested Candidate may apply in prescribed application form along with Self Attested copies of certificates and mark lists/statements pertaining to all the years showing age and educational qualifications, One recent passport size photograph to be pasted on the application, One self-addressed envelope of 12 cms x 25 cms size, affixed with postage stamps worth Rs.6/- and send to the Regional Director, Staff Selection Commission (ER), 234/4, A.J.C.
