Coast Guard Region (NE), Kolkata invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) (MTD(OG)) on Direct Recruitment Basis. Eligible persons apply within 30 days form the date of advertisement (Employment News Paper dated 9th May 2015).
Educational Qualifications:
(a) 10th standard pass (Matriculation).
(b) Must possess valid driving license for both heavy and light motor vehicles.
(c) Should have at least two years' experience in driving motor vehicles.
(d) Knowledge of motor mechanism (should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).
Selection Process: Short listed candidates only will be called for Written Test and Interview. The Written test will be of Objective type (Maximum marks 50). The candidates passed in the written test will be called for interview and then trade test, as applicable, for a total of 25 marks each. The pass marks will be 50% for UR (General)/OBC category and 45% for SC/ST candidates in written test, interview and trade test, if any.
How To Apply: Prescribed format of application (English or Hindi) along with Photo copies of certificates of all educational qualifications, technical qualifications, caste and experience certificates, duly attested/self attested, should be attached with applications (bio-data) and two recent passport size photographs addressed to THE COMMANDER, COAST GUARD REGION(NE), SHRACHI BUILDING, 6TH FLOOR, SYNTHESIS BUSINESS PARK, NEW TOWN, RAJARHAT, KOLKATA - 700 157 on or before 08/06/2015 by Ordinary Post Only. Educational Qualification:
Store Keeper -> Any Degree and 03 Years experience in handling stores and keeping accounts in a store of a Government Department or Public Sector Undertaking.
Assistant Store Keeper -> Matriculation or equivalent. Desirable - One Years Experience in handling stores in a Govt./Public Undertaking or a recognized firm
Welder -> ITI in the trade of Welder OR should have successfully completed apprenticeship from recognized / reputed workshop in the trade of Welder under Apprentices Act, 1961 or under any other recognized apprenticeship scheme. Desirable - 10th Pass.
Sheet Fitter -> Should have completed Apprenticeship in the trade from Industrial Training Institute or other recognized institutions. Desirable - 02 years' experience in the trade.
