About Goa Board HSSC: -The Goa board is established for holding and conducting Examination at the end of secondary school stage and for prescribing course of studies for such examinations. The board also conducts departmental examination such asdiploma in physical education. The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) is the one who manage the 10^th/SSC and 12^th/HSSC education and its affiliated schools every year. The board established on 27 May 1975 under the GOA Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Act, 1975. Board conducts the HSSC & SSC examination every year in the month of March.

In the last year 2014, the board has announced the 12^th /HSSC results on 11^thMay 2014. In the year 2014 the total 11728 number of students have enrolled for the examination out of them 11720 students have appeared  for the examination and 10025 get passed with average passing percentage of 85.54%.
