SSC Constable GD Syllabus 2015
The SSC Constable GD exam will be consists of Four areas which includes General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi. And here is the detailed syllabus of such areas:
- General Intelligence and Reasoning:This section will consists of the topics such as Visual Memory, Observation, Analogies, Similarities and Differences, Spatial Visualization, Relationship Concepts, Arithmetic Number Series, Non – Verbal Series, Visual Memory, Arithmetical Reasoning and figural Classification, Coding and Decoding Etc.
- General Knowledge and General Awareness:This section will features the questions related to the current affairs just to know about the knowledge of candidates related to the awareness about the current happenings. The questions can be ask from the History, Sports, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution and Scientific Research Etc.
- Elementary Mathematics: This section will consist of the questions which will includes Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and Relationship Between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetical Operations, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest and Profit, Mensuration, Time and Distance.
- English/Hindi:The knowledge of candidates in the English and Hindi language will be known through this section.
SSC Constable GD 2015 Exam Pattern
The Examination Pattern for the SSC Constable GD 2015 examination will be as follows:
Physical Standards Test PST:
- Height For Male Candidates: 170 cms and For Female Candidates: 157 cms
- Chest for Male Candidates: Unexpanded 80 cms and 5 cms Expanded
- Weight for Males and Females will be proportionate to height and age as per Medical Standards.
Physical Efficiency Test: The Test will be conduct in which race for Male Candidates should be 5 Kms in 24 minutes and 16 Kms in 8 and half hours for Female candidates.
Written Examination: The Written Exam can be conduct into two ways which includes Online and Offline exam which will be in English/Hindi. There will be 4 Parts of the exam Part – A, Part – B, Part – C, Part – D which will carry 25 questions in each and 25 marks in each sections. The Time Duration will be of 2 hours in which candidates have to done correct answer.

Medical Examination: Candidates should have the near vision N6 – N9 and Vision should be 6/6 – 6/9.
