Medical SSC Officer vacancies :

• Vacancies : 400 posts, Eligibility:  The applicant must possess medical qualification included in First/Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of IMC Act 1956. The applicant must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/MCI. Post graduate degree/ diploma holders recognized by State Medical Council/MCI/NBE can also apply. Only those candidates who have completed/completing their internship on or before 28 Feb 2017 can apply, Age :  45 years as on 31st Dec. 2017, Pay Band : PB-3 Rs. 17160 - 39100 + Grade pay Rs. 6100 + Military Service Pay (MSP) Rs. 6000 + NPA @25% of Basic + Grade Pay + MSP and other

Interview : 

Eligible candidates will be called for interview by a Board of Officers between 27th Feb 2017 to 9th March 2017 at Mumbai to assess their suitability and merit for grant of Short Service Commission in the Armed Forces Medical Services. The candidates who qualify in the interview will have to undergo Special Medical Examination Board (SMB). The candidates appearing for interview for the first time will be paid to and fro sleeper-class railway/bus fare.

2. For Naval Academy : B.Sc. (with Physics & Mathematics ) or Bachelor of Engineering.
3. For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognised university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering
4. Candidates who are studying in final year Degree Course and yet to pass final year degree examination or equivalent examination can also apply for the Examination, but they will be required to submit proof of passing the Degree Examination or equivalent examination by the specified dates.

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals Law Graduates  unmarried Men and unmarried Women  for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army for Judge Advocate General Dept. (JAG) :

• SSC Officer Law Graduate : 14 posts (Men-10, Women-04),Qualification : 55% marks in LLB Degree (3 years after Graduation or 5 years after 10+2), Age : 21-27 years, Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400 plus MSP Rs. 6000.

Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (II), 2015 including SSC (Women Non - Technical) Course

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (II), 2015 on01/11/2015 for admission to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy amd Air force Academy and Officers Training Academy, Chennai for the courses (Men and Women). :

1. Indian Military Academy, Dehradun : 200 posts
2. Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala : 45 posts
3. Air Force Academy, Hyderabad : 32 posts
4. Officers Training Academy , Chennai (Men) : 175 posts
5. Officers Training Academy, Chennai (Women) : 11 posts

Conditions of Eligibility

(A) Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status: 

1. For Indian Military Academy : Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1992 and not later than 1st July 1997 only are eligible.
2. For Naval Academy : Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1992 and not later than 1st July 1997 only are eligible.
3. For Air Force Academy : 20-24 years, Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1992 and not later than 1st July 1996 only are eligible.
4. For Officers' Training Academy - (SSC Course for Men) : Male candidates (Unmarried or Married) born not earlier than 2nd July, 1991 and not later than 1st July 1997 only are eligible.
5. For Officers Training Academy - SSC (Women Non- Technical) Course :  (a) Unmarried Women, issue less widows who have not remarried, and issue less divorcees (in possession of divorcee documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been not earlier than 2nd July, 1991 and not later than 1st July, 1997.

(B) Educational Qualifications:

1. For Indian Military Academy and Officers' Training Academy : Degree of a recognised university or equivalent.
2. For Naval Academy : B.Sc. (with Physics & Mathematics ) or Bachelor of Engineering.
3. For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognised university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering
4. Candidates who are studying in final year Degree Course and yet to pass final year degree examination or equivalent examination can also apply for the Examination, but they will be required to submit proof of passing the Degree Examination or equivalent examination by the specified dates.

(C) Physical Standards: candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (II), 2015 as prescribed in the detailed advertisement.

Fee : Pay Rs.200/- either in any branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking of SBI or by using Credit/ Debit card. Female/SC/ST candidates are exempted.
