Custom Department (Gujarat) releases notification for the recruitment of the posts of Seaman and other posts in Group 'C' Cadre. Willing or eligible applicants can apply on or before 07-07-2015.

Qualification & Experience:-

Post Name	Qualification & Experience
Seaman	i) 10th pass with 3 yrs. exp. in sea going mechanized vessel ii) Should have 2 yrs. in helmsman and seamanship work.
Sr. Deck Hand	Eighth pass with 5 yrs. service on sea going vessel & 2 yrs. in helmsman and seamanship work.
Sukhani	Eighth pass with 7 yrs. service on sea going vessel & 2 yrs. exp. in independent handling of mechanized craft fitted with auxiliary sails.
Skipper Mate	Should be working as Petty Officer & Above.
Engine Driver	Eighth pass with 10 yrs. service on sea going vessel & 5 yrs. independent auxiliary machinery.
Engineer Mate	Should be a Petty Officer with 5 yrs. experience.
Trades Man	10th pass with ITI in Mechanic/ Diesel/ Fitter/ Instrumental/ Carpentry/ Electrician/ Welder/ Turner with 2 yrs. exp.
