DIPP Recruitment 2015 Directors

Government of India, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP) invites applications for the post of Director in the National Institute of Design (NID), Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Kurukshetra (Haryana) and Jorhat (Assam). The appointment shall be made on direct recruitment basis for a term of five years or attains the age of sixty years, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility: Director NID being the academic as well as administrative head is expected to have Master's Degree in Engineering or Technology or Design. The candidate should have minimum of 15 years' experience in Teaching or Industry or Research. Should have proven record of significant contributions made in the field of Technology or Design with national or international exposure.
