Essential Qualifications:
Scientific Officer-D (Physics) -> Ph.D degree in Physics from recognized University/Institute.
Scientific Officer-D (High Performance Computing) -> ME/ M.Tech in Computer Science/ IT/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering with 2 years of experience or MSc in Computer Science/Basic Sciences with 5 years of experience. (OR) Ph.D in Computer Science/ IT/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering/Basic Sciences (in any field of computational science). Experience in Large-scale computing cluster and storage management, Installation and administration of Linux OS, Parallel file system, Installation, trouble shooting and optimization of software and libraries for scientific computation, Configuration of job scheduling software and Configuration and optimization of network (GE and IB) for computing clusters.
Scientific Officer-C (Biology) -> Master in Science with minimum 60% marks in any Discipline of Basic Biology.
Scientific Officer-C (Chemistry) -> Master in Science in Chemistry with minimum 60% marks.
Scientific Officer-C (Library) -> M.Lib in Information Science with minimum 55% marks and have qualified NET in relevant subject. Minimum of 4 years of experience in responsible capacity in a University level library.
Scientific Assistant-B (Biology) -> B.Sc Degree with Biology as a major subject with minimum 60% marks (OR) B.Sc with minimum 60% marks and 1 year diploma in Computer Science with minimum 60% marks.
Scientific Assistant-B (Chemistry) -> B.Sc Degree with Chemistry as a major subject with minimum 60% marks.
Scientific Assistant-B (Physics) -> B.Sc (Electronics) with minimum 60% marks (OR) Diploma in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical/Mechanical) with minimum 60% marks.
Scientific Assistant-B (Computer Centre) -> Bachelor Degree in computer Sciences or 3 year Diploma in Computer science/IT/Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks.
Technician-C (Biology) -> H.S.C (12th Standard) in Science with minimum 60% marks in H.S.C or S.S.C (Matriculation). 4 years of experience in running laboratory experiments and handling lab instruments.
Technician-C (Chemistry) -> H.S.C (12th Standard) in Science with minimum 60% marks in H.S.C or S.S.C (Matriculation). 4 years of experience in running laboratory experiments and major/minor instrument handling.
Technician-C (Mathematics) -> H.S.C (12th Standard) in science with minimum 60% marks in H.S.C or S.S.C (Matriculation). 4 years of working knowledge in the handling computer applications like C++, Web designing, Latex etc.
Technician-C (Physics) -> H.S.C (12th Standard) in science with minimum 60% marks in H.S.C or S.S.C (Matric) with 4 years of experience in laboratory experiments related to Physics. (OR) SSC (10th Standard) with minimum 60% marks and ITI (Electronics/Electrical) with minimum 60% marks.
Technician-C (Computer) -> S.S.C (Matric) with Trade certificate of 1 year duration in the areas of Computer Hardware and Networking from reputed Institution with minimum 60% marks in both. 4 years of working experience in maintenance of Computer Hardware and Networking. Sound knowledge in LAN/ WAN/ Wi-fi/ Optical Fibres/ Switch Configuration/ Routers/ Firewalls/ Linux OS.
Technician-B (Biology / Chemistry / Physics / Library) -> HSC (12th Standard) in Science with minimum 60% marks in H.S.C or S.S.C (Matric).
Technician-B (Civil / Electrical, Mechanical) -> S.S.C (10th standard) and Trade (ITI) Certificate of minimum 1 year duration in required field.
